Privacy notice
Updated 9 October 2026.
This notice explains how the scenescribe.pro website handles browsing data. It covers this website only, not the SceneScribe platform.
Who is responsible
This website is run by SceneScribe, a project not yet incorporated. When the company is incorporated, this notice will be updated with its legal name and address. For privacy matters, write to contact@scenescribe.pro.
What we collect
Only with your consent, we collect usage statistics through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity:
- pages visited, the date and time of the visit and the referring site;
- device type, browser, language and approximate location (city or country), estimated from your IP address;
- interactions on the page, such as clicks, scrolling and cursor movement, which Clarity uses for heatmaps and session recordings.
We do not try to find out who you are, and we do not combine this data with other information about you. The tools use a random identifier, stored in a cookie, to recognise repeat visits from the same browser. The site has no forms, sign-up or login, so no form data is collected. If you decline, none of these tools is loaded.
We store your choice (accept or decline) in your browser's local storage under the name ss-consent. It is only used to respect your choice, it is not sent to anyone, and after 12 months we ask again.
Why we use it
To understand how many people visit the site, which content is of interest and how to improve the pages. We do not use the data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
The analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) only run with your consent (LGPD, Brazil's General Data Protection Law, art. 7, I; GDPR, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, art. 6(1)(a); express consent under PIPEDA, Canada's federal privacy law). Hosting on Cloudflare processes technical access data based on our legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site (LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Providers
- Google Analytics, by Google. Cookies:
_gaand_ga_*, which last up to 2 years. - Microsoft Clarity, by Microsoft. Clarity records how you interact with the site (clicks, scrolling, cursor movement) to produce heatmaps and session recordings, using first-party and third-party cookies. Cookies on scenescribe.pro:
_clck, which lasts up to 1 year, and_clsk, which lasts 1 day. Microsoft may also process this data under the Microsoft privacy statement. - Cloudflare, which hosts the site and processes technical access data, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site. This does not use analytics cookies.
The site's fonts are served by the site itself, with no requests to third parties.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics data is kept for 2 months and then deleted. In Microsoft Clarity, session recordings are kept for 30 days and heatmaps for up to 13 months.
International transfers
Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare may process data outside your country, including in the United States. These transfers rely on standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the companies' certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How to withdraw consent
You can change your choice at any time in , which is also in the footer of every page. When you decline, the tools stop loading and the analytics cookies stored on scenescribe.pro are deleted. Cookies stored on Microsoft domains (such as MUID) can only be deleted in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we process your data, and request access, correction, deletion, anonymisation, portability and information about who we share it with. You can also object to processing or ask us to restrict it. Because we do not ask for your name or email, we may need the value of the _ga or _clck cookie from your browser to find your data. We will reply within 15 days.
You can also complain to the ANPD (Brazil's National Data Protection Authority), the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the data protection authority in your EU country.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of the page.
